Shaping hearts and enriching lives through Project Refresh 2022

Singapore, January 2022

In January, Aztech gave back to the community through North East Community Development Council’s (NECDC) Project Refresh 2022. This initiative was made all the more heartwarming as it has also served as a platform for talented and differently-abled artists from ART:DIS to give back to the community.

Together, 100 volunteers have gathered to enhance the living conditions for 23 family homes across Tampines and Pasir Ris East divisions. These families had their homes spruced up in time for Chinese New Year (CNY) with heartwarming CNY décor, inspiring art pieces from artists-in-training at ART:DIS, and an electrical appliance and festive cookies donated by Aztech Global Ltd.

Joining in the volunteers were North East District Mayor Desmond Choo and Grassroots Adviser Sharael Taha who distributed care packs and goodies to the beneficiaries.

Being differently-abled definitely doesn't stop one from giving back, and neither should any of us in working towards a more inclusive and caring society. Aztech looks forward to more opportunities to care and empower lives to co-create a better and sustainable tomorrow within our community.

Project Refresh started as a community building and bonding initiative between North East CDC and Young NTUC five years ago. Since then, both organisations have impacted more than 400 residential units through the involvement of seven social service agencies and 4,000 volunteers. Much time and effort have been devoted towards understanding the residents’ needs, and finding new partnerships to address them.
